Jon and Erica are burdened to make young disciples who follow Jesus resiliently and fruitfully in post-Christian contexts. Using their combined passions for relational discipleship and cross-cultural missions, biblical teaching and apologetics training, humanitarian efforts and outside-the-box ministry models, they work to instill in young people a remnant spirit for bearing Kingdom fruit in an age of Babylon-like pressure. In June 2022, Jon and Erica moved far from home to plant The Awakening’s International Base in Los Angeles, California. There, they are building young disciples, serving the least of these, providing domestic and international missions opportunities, collaborating with a variety of West Coast ministries and IPHC churches, and seeking renewal in a place that daily influences the entire world.
