Abigail Yates is from Lexington, Kentucky and has a degree in Intercultural Studies from Southwestern Christian University. After hearing God’s call to missions at a young age, feeling drawn to South America, and desiring to see lives and communities transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, she eventually spent time serving in various South American countries through The Awakening’s On My Way program. Now, Abigail is a part of the team at The Awakening’s International base in Santiago, Chile. She has a passion and burden to serve South America’s youth and young adults in ministry preparation and to equip this generation to be sent out to the ends of the earth.
