Bill and Gretchen began serving as missionaries in Belgium in 2002. Their focus has been making disciples, training leaders, and planting churches. Gretchen has also been actively serving in an anti-human trafficking ministry. In January 2024, Bill was appointed Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe, overseeing IPHC missions in 17 countries where Christianity is less than 2% of the population. His assignment includes supporting and serving IPHC National Leaders and mentoring local pastors, as well as caring for the missionary force within his region. Pray for the Schwartzes as they continue to train leaders, plant churches, and pioneer ministry works into new countries.
