Jon and Erica Campbell

Jon and Erica are US missionaries church planting in Los Angeles. They have a burden to serve both the global church and the modern Western church—especially in urban, post-Christian contexts like LA where the Global and Western churches are neighbors sharing the same zip codes.

In June 2022, Jon and Erica moved to Los Angeles to plant The Awakening’s West Coast International Training Base, desiring to raise next-gen leaders and target the over 130 nations represented throughout LA’s residents—mobilizing some to reach their home countries. While there, they also began seeing the need for new local churches to help respond to L.A.’s dire spiritual situation and discovered that their passion for global missions and next-gen discipleship could be wedded together with their burden to reach the city in the form of church planting. So in February 2024, they committed to planting a new local church in Los Angeles called “Goodness & Love City Church.”
