In 2007, Rev. Veli Mazibuko and his wife Nellie were sent to pastor the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shakaville, Kwa Zulu Natal. When they arrived, there were four men and six women attending the church. Since the time of their arrival, the church membership has grown to 350 people. During the years Rev. Mazibuko has served as pastor, he has not only grown the local church but has established seven branches in the neighboring areas of KwaDukuza. This has been achieved through open airs, outreach crusades, and revivals.

The local church building, which was built in the 1930s, cannot accommodate all the people. Because of financial constraints, the church is struggling to raise enough funds for building the church. The only way to accomplish this task is by building a new steel structure over the existing building and bricking it in.
