“Vida Nueva en Amsterdam”

For nearly a decade, Matthew and Femke Helland have been helping people in prostitution get out of prostitution and find a new life. Out of their weekly outreaches in Amsterdam’s Red Light District, a new church was born, Iglesia Vida Nueva en Amsterdam. From this church, they continue to see new outreaches being birthed, reaching out to vulnerable people in prostitution, prisons, and poverty. 

The Helland’s continue not only having a weekly outreach and church services in Amsterdam’s Red Light District, but they also continue inspiring and helping other churches and ministries reach out to people who have been trafficked or have worked in prostitution. 

Their ministry to those in prostitution continues to inspire and equip other churches to also reach out to those in similar circumstances in their own cities and nations.
