Kendyll Gunther felt a strong pull towards missions from a young age and stepped into that calling in 2022 when she joined The Awakening's summer internship. During this two-month program, she had the opportunity to serve the people of Los Angeles, California, South Africa, and Hungary. She felt a deep burden for the lost, the hurting and the hopeless, and desired for the Lord to use her to reach the nations. In 2024, God opened the door for her to serve in Perú for nine months alongside pastors/missionaries David and Ceci Hodges. While in Perú, she served with Ríos de Fuego, an evangelistic outreach on the Amazon and received hands on ministry training. It was during this time that she felt her heart being drawn to the continent of South America. After multiple trips to Argentina, she is excited to return to South America for full-time ministry.
