By providing free sewing training, the IPHC in India is taking concrete steps to reach out to people around our centers to help with their economic growth. People who were previously not ready to enter the church building gladly come in for training and participate in prayer and study of the word. The six-month course targets areas where people are impoverished and empowers women to make earnings by becoming a tailor. The church and the local economy, in turn, are strengthened.

The cost of a sewing machine is $150. The remuneration for the trainer is $20 per month.
